About NCSD.

I’m Ben Fretz of North Country Sporting Dogs. I’m located in the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies in Alberta, Canada.

The outdoors is an integral part of my life and the life of my dogs. I love dogs and I get excited seeing them do what they’re bred for! My dogs are my companions for hiking, fishing, hunting for antlers in the spring, upland birds and waterfowl in the fall.

They make wonderful friends and partners for the field, water, trails and of course the home. To see them love their life and be loved by their family is my goal and passion!
